RPMA Meeting – August 29, 2009

The Raza Press and Media Association (RPMA) will be holding its general meeting on August 29, 2009, in Los Angeles (see address below).

Re-established in 1990, the RPMA is the only Mexican/Raza group consistently and in an organized fashion, working towards advancing the creation of a independent, progressive and revolutionary media.

The meeting is open to all who support the goals and objectives of the RPMA and want to join the association.

The meeting will begin at 11 AM. It will not last more than 2 hours. This will give members time to attend Moratorium Commemoration events.

The Agenda for the meeting will include:

A. Welcome and Reports.
All present are encouraged to give a 5 min. update on their work (material produced, workshops, conferences, etc.).

B. La Pluma
Report on latest issue on the RPMA journal, Guerrillera/os de La Pluma.

C. Update on Book Fest
The RPMA mesa directiva will give the membership an update on our yearly Book Festival.

D. On-going Projects
Books and other publications.

E. New Items.
