General Meeting!

On Sat., August 28, 2010, the Raza Press and Media Association (RPMA) will hold its next “General Membership Meeting”. The meeting will be held at the Centro Francisco Villa, 2100 Maple Ave, Los Angeles. The time of the meeting will from 9 AM to 11 AM, allowing for members to attend the National Chicano Moratorium Committee’s (NCMC) 40th commemoration of the historic anti-Vietnam War March of August 29th 1970.

Re-established in 1990, for two decades the RPMA has been in the forefront in the struggle to create a progressive and revolutionary media that will represent the interests of the Mexicano-Raza community.

9:00 AM Welcome/Introduction
• Brief 5 mins reports on the work being done By RPMA members (books, newsletters, workshop presentations, etc.). Members will report on work they have done or are currently doing. Please provide us with a written summation of your report.
• No proposals/or recommendations are made during this part of the meeting.
• Report from Coordinator/Mesa Members

9:30 AM Update On RPMA Projects
• Guerrillero/as de La Pluma (journal of the RPMA) – Jose Moreno/Ernesto Bustillos
